Our BEC module (Battery Elimination Circuit) was specifically developed for use with uniLIGHT.at lighting systems and offers high performance in a very compact design.

The module allows the necessary constant voltage to be generated directly from a flight battery (up to 28V/6S). There are two versions available; the 8V/2S version is designed for use with standard lighting systems. The 12V/3S version is intended for use with Segler ACL.

The module is simply connected to the drive battery; the lighting system can then be powered directly from the output. Thanks to the galvanic isolation of the uniLIGHT controllers, no interference can occur in the reception area. Lighting systems with up to 5A continuous current and 8A peak current can be operated.

Additionally, this BEC module offers further adjustment options via small switches on the side.

FULL switch: The full/maximum voltage of 8.4V for standard
lighting systems or 13V for sailboat ACL is provided.

Switch REDUCED - HIGH/LOW
The output voltage is reduced to dim the lighting system slightly or more significantly to avoid glare at dusk or to allow operation at an exhibition without overheating.
