The small, powerful RC data logger and telemetry sensor records and transmits V / A / W / mAh / Wmin / rpm / °C / individual cells / altitude / vario
The UniLog 2 is the successor to our successful UniLog data logger. All familiar UniLog functions have been retained and updated with the latest technology. Numerous new features have been added, leaving virtually nothing to be desired.
Telemetry via 2.4 GHz systems with a return channel is now a standard feature of the UniLog 2 and fully integrated. In line with our philosophy of supporting as many systems as possible, the UniLog 2 also supports Jeti Duplex, Multiplex M-Link, Graupner HoTT, Futaba, JR DMSS, FrSky, and Spektrum (via a Spektrum adapter).
The telemetry system used only needs to be specified once in the UniLog 2 settings. This can be done either via our PC program "UniLog 2 Tool" or with the UniDisplay. HoTT GAM is selected by default.
Since an additional high-resolution barometric (air pressure) altitude sensor is also integrated, a vario is implemented with the UniLog 2 in telemetry mode. Extensive alarms can also be programmed, which are reported via telemetry through the respective transmitter.
When operating with Multiplex M-Link, all data on the sensor bus is automatically logged by the UniLog 2 and also written to the memory card. This effectively provides you with an MSB data logger as well.
A micro-SD memory card serves as virtually unlimited storage for the UniLog 2.
With a recording rate of up to 20 Hz and the micro SD memory card, recordings of almost any length with high resolution are possible. Data transfer to a PC for analysis is also incredibly simple: remove the memory card from the UniLog 2 and insert it into a USB port on the PC using the included card reader. The UniLog 2’s measurement values are stored as text files on the memory card. The data is then displayed and analyzed using the familiar LogView software or GNU DataExplorer. Thanks to the internal real-time clock with battery, all measurement values are always stamped with the date and time.
Another new feature is the ability to measure individual cell voltages. A LiPo battery up to 6S can be connected directly to the UniLog 2 using its balancer connector; the individual voltages are measured and recorded, and of course transmitted via telemetry.
Via our UniDisplay, all UniLog 2 measurement values can also be viewed live, and the recorded data can be read from the memory card. Minimum and maximum values can be quickly retrieved from the stored records and displayed. All settings and alarms can, of course, also be conveniently programmed via the UniDisplay.
Whether it’s a glider, aerobatic plane, helicopter, HLG, or slow flyer, the UniLog 2 can be used in virtually any application thanks to its low weight and compact size. Of course, the UniLog 2 isn’t just suitable for model aircraft. It can also be installed in RC boats, RC cars, and more.
With the UniLog 2, you are purchasing a high-performance, universal RC data logger and telemetry sensor that leverages the capabilities of modern electronics to serve as a small yet invaluable assistant in managing your RC models.
