Trailing coupling made of high-strength aluminum, machined for direct screw-on mounting to a frame in the model. No reinforcement of the fuselage skin is necessary.

The release pin is made of spring steel with a thread for screwing on a standard ball head. The tow coupling can be operated either with the release pin included in the delivery or, if necessary, with a Bowden cable.

Release stages

The tow coupling’s two release stages can be activated sequentially. This allows, for example, not only the classic glider tow but also the deployment of a parachute with the first stage and a banner with the second stage on display models.

Tensile strength

Tensile tests have shown that the tow coupling can easily withstand loads of up to approximately 100 kilograms.
