The PowerBox Competition SHV is the latest generation of the PowerBox family and was developed to meet the increased demands for torque and speed of the latest generation of servos. SHV stands for Super-High-Voltage, and as the
name suggests, the PowerBox Competition SHV operates at a significantly higher voltage than previous 8.4V systems. Up to 35V can be connected as the input voltage and transmitted redundantly to the servos. The advantage is clear: for the same servo power, the current in the servo cable is reduced proportionally. A servo that, for example, drew 6A of current with 8.4V technology requires only 2A with 25.2V technology and a 6s power supply.

For two receivers, a gyro, additional telemetry sensors, and up to four servos, two redundant DC/DC converters are built in, which deliver a regulated voltage of 8.4V and can handle loads of up to 10A.
The software of the PowerBox Competition SHV is based on the proven PowerBox Competition SR2 and includes all typical PowerBox functions: 12-axis iGyro with optional speed compensation, servo matching with Auto-Match function, door sequencer, input and output mapping, and much more. The PowerBox Competition SHV is configured via the high-resolution color display or, alternatively for PowerBox and Jeti pilots, from the transmitter.
The UAV version features modified software. In this variant, the RX1 serves as the “master,” using channel 16 to switch between the RX1 and RX2 inputs. This allows, for example, switching between a standard RC transmitter and a flight controller. The flight controller also receives its power supply from the PowerBox Competition SHV.
