Product Description

The PBR-5XS was developed specifically for indoor model aircraft. Weighing just 2g, the PBR-5XS is used in models where weight is a critical factor. To achieve this, the PBR-5XS eliminates a housing and connector headers, and the circuit board thickness is reduced to the bare minimum.

The receiver section of the PBR-5XS uses a chip antenna, which is mounted on the circuit board to save space and is resistant to mechanical stress. Thanks to its compact design and the chip antenna, the PBR-5XS has a range of over 1000 meters.

Another special feature is the additional analog measurement input. Here, the drive battery can be connected directly, e.g., via the balancer connection. Here, the PBR-5XS measures the voltage of the flight battery (up to 3S / 12.6V) and transmits the information directly to the transmitter via telemetry. This allows the flight battery voltage and the BEC voltage of the ESC to be displayed via telemetry.

The supply voltage from the BEC, all servos, and the drive battery voltage measurement are soldered directly onto the PBR-5XS board. The receiver is then covered with heat-shrink tubing.
