Extremely small and extremely light! Weighing just 1.8 g without the cable, the MicroVario offers a high-quality TEK Vario with two pressure sensors and an accelerometer!

The MicroVario uses a built-in high-resolution pressure sensor to provide a high-quality Vario via telemetry and, thanks to the integrated TEK connector, also allows the use of compensation nozzles. This results in a Vario function that displays actual climb and sink rates very accurately, independent of “stick thermals.” For precise altitude measurement even when operating with a TEK nozzle, a second pressure sensor is built in, which provides accurate altitude data regardless of airspeed.

When using a TEK nozzle, airspeed is also measured and displayed without the need for additional sensors.

The built-in 3-axis accelerometer, with a measurement range up to 16 g, provides information about G-forces during flight.

All MicroVario measurement values can be viewed live directly via our UniDisplay. Naturally, all settings and alarms can also be conveniently programmed via the display.

In line with our philosophy of supporting as many systems as possible, the MicroVario also supports telemetry from:

The telemetry system used only needs to be specified once in the MicroVario settings. This can be done either using our PC program "SM MicroVario Tool" or with the UniDisplay. HoTT is selected by default.
