The F16 1/8 is the first model in the BASIC Line, developed in collaboration between FINAL-Modellbau and JETLEGEND. The Basic Line stands out thanks to a combination of cost-effective construction and SCALE parts from the high-quality JETLEGEND series. For example, the entire fuselage is manufactured using the well-known, lightweight AIREX construction method, while the wings feature a high-quality wooden construction. The landing gear used in the BASIC Line is taken directly from the SCALE version, boasting the already well-known outstanding quality and stability. The ingenious design and the SCALE look of the landing gear, modeled after the original, are the crowning touch to the overall appearance.

The BASIC Line comes in an ARF+ version: all accessory parts are already installed. All control surfaces are linked to high-torque servos. The landing gear, complete with all gear doors, is fully installed and functional. The landing gear is controlled via the Central Controller familiar from JETLEGEND and the pre-installed electric valves. Of course, active air pressure monitoring with an emergency landing gear deployment in the event of a pressure loss is included. The complete fuel system, including the hopper tank, is also pre-installed. The pilot need only perform the final assembly—installing the turbine, receiver, and power supply—and the maiden flight can begin with minimal assembly effort.
