The F-100F is constructed using a full fiberglass sandwich construction and reinforced with carbon fiber at critical points to produce a lightweight yet very stable jet; the fiberglass parts are painted silver. Despite its size, the model is designed to achieve a takeoff weight of less than 25 kg. Features include functional slats and speed brakes, as well as continuous ducting from the nose to the turbine. As with all Tomahawk Scale jets, great emphasis was placed on detailed reproduction and the highest production standards.

The basic kit is supplied with an elevator linkage system, control surface linkages, flap linkages, landing gear door covers, and all necessary small parts
