In line with the trend toward lightweight and sturdy landing gear, we have converted our entire range of landing gear to retractable designs consisting of CFRP side sections and aluminum struts. All components have been redesigned for low weight while maintaining a sturdy construction.

The side panels of the 1:3.5 scale landing gear with 100 mm wheels are made of 4.0 mm CFRP. All milled edges feature a 45-degree chamfer, ensuring these parts pose no risk of injury and feel very comfortable to the touch. Servo wings for a standard-size servo are installed as standard on the left and right sides of the side panels. This eliminates the need to purchase additional servo mounts, and the servos for the wheel drive and the brake servo can be installed directly. Mounting is intended to be done with M3 screws; the holes matching the servo are already present in the servo mounts. We supply the appropriate screws and lock nuts.

Weight-optimized and aesthetically pleasing design thanks to CNC-machined geometry; due to the mechanical design, the wheel is firmly locked in the extended/retracted position. This prevents the wheel from extending due to centrifugal forces, for example during a loop.

In the un-damped version, the wheel is mounted in the glider between two frames. In the damped version, the wheel is mounted on a main frame; the movable part of the landing gear is guided laterally at the rear only by a thin frame

- The installation height of the single-wheel landing gear in the fuselage is adjustable

- the moving parts are mounted in brass bushings

The basic configuration consists of:

- the two side sections made of 4.0 mm carbon

- the two wheel arms made of 4.0 mm aluminum (mirror-polished) material AW 7075

- The required spacer bolts

- Servo mounts for two standard-size servos

- the swivel mechanism, including drive lever

- The required stainless steel screws

- 1 solid rubber wheel, 100 mm, from FEMA (the FEMA wheel is equipped with ball bearings)

- Two front flange plates for mounting the landing gear in the main frame

(these allow the landing gear to move backward/upward for rubber swing mounts/suspension)

Total weight of the basic kit: 500 grams

The landing gear systems have a modular design and can therefore be customized.
