Description:

The innovative uniCONNECT plug-in system utilizes solid blade contacts and heavy-duty socket strips. Thanks to the new design, high pin counts can now finally be achieved in a compact plug—currently up to 22 pins. Additionally, over 3,000 mating cycles are possible at loads up to 10A. Optimally designed for use in model building.
The blade connectors offer the advantage that all cables can be soldered reliably and easily without the risk of melting a plastic carrier. They also feature strain relief, locking, a grip, and kink protection. The contacts of the blade connectors are always visible, allowing damage and contamination to be detected immediately.
The greatest advantage of the system, however, is that double redundancy for important control functions is already built into the connector. For this reason, the system not only specifies conventional pin numbers but also distinguishes between primary pins (double, for main functions) and secondary pins (single, for lights, landing gear, brakes, etc.).

Floating DIRECT & Floating HEADER are two groups of connector systems developed exclusively for the independent connection of wings and fuselage. There are no cables or connectors hanging around that could be damaged or contaminated. The male connector strip makes direct contact with the female connector during assembly. This is reliably possible with uniCONNECT because the female connector strips are not rigidly but “floating” connected to the carrier and can therefore move along with the wing during slight movements and vibrations. Of course, the system is only suitable for rigidly bolted, right-angled, and cleanly routed connections. The connectors cannot withstand mechanical stress from an improperly seated connector!

The two groups, DIRECT and HEADER, differ only in their connection method. DIRECT was primarily developed for reliable soldered connections, while HEADER is designed with standard pins for Uni connectors.
All connectors are screwed together from several high-quality fiberglass elements and can be disassembled and serviced at any time. For this purpose, each connector is offered in two versions:


RTR as a fully assembled and soldered unit with a 2/3m cable connected directly 1-to-1. This is installed on one side, the length to the servo is defined, and it is terminated with crimp contacts. The remaining cable is routed on the other side to the receiver and terminated there. This finished unit is always delivered as a single piece, i.e., 1xM and 1xF soldered end-to-end.
DIY as a kit for the model builder, including all individual parts and screws for self-assembly. This makes it very attractive in terms of price; two pairs are always delivered, i.e., 2xM and 2xF as a kit.
RTW as a pre-assembled connector to which only the cables need to be soldered—the assembly of the plates is already complete. 2xM and 2xF are delivered
