The Arcus is the newest model in the Tomahawk glider family. It was calculated and designed by an experienced aerodynamicist. The model stands out for its very thin wing profile and the resulting high dynamics. The airfoil consists of 12 different sections, with a wing thickness of 8.6% and a dihedral of less than 2%. As a result, the model is slightly faster than the ASG 32 and the Duo Discus in curved glide or thermal flight, but it also accelerates significantly faster in speed flight. The wings are manufactured using a complex carbon fiber composite sandwich shell construction. A fine glass fabric layer is used as the top layer to ensure a perfect surface. The model can be built with either six or eight flaps. The parts for mounting the outer aileron are included in the kit. The fuselage is constructed using a full-composite design made of fiberglass with carbon fiber reinforcements and painted seams. The vertical stabilizer features a fixed strut on the underside that protects the rudder from damage during a sliding landing. The wing joint is a solid rectangular carbon fiber connector. All parts are painted white with 2K paint (underside of wings gray).

The Arcus is delivered with a high degree of pre-assembly. All control surfaces are pre-mounted and designed as elastic flaps with gap-covering lips. The wing and tail assembly screw connections are pre-made, and the control surface horns are already glued in place. Simple wooden servo mounts and linkage parts are included with the kit. The cockpit consists of a seat pan and instrument dials. For an additional charge (see Accessories), this can be upgraded to a scale cockpit. The canopy is pre-fitted and the latch is already installed. The model is ideally suited for an FES powerplant but can also be equipped with an impeller.
