The A20-Competition series was developed specifically for narrow hulls. These are lightweight, high-performance, enclosed outrunner motors with high torque and efficiency. They do not require a gearbox and are suitable for a wide range of applications. The A20 Competition motors are fully enclosed, meaning there are no rotating motor parts except for the motor shaft! Combined with the rear cable outlet, even the narrowest fuselages can be safely powered. The internal fan, dual ball bearings, and replaceable 5mm shaft make the motor efficient and robust.

The weight-optimized high-end A20-8 XL Competition motor (kv1500), weighing only 104g, is ideal for gliders up to 1.4kg and motorized and sport aircraft up to approx. 900g.
