A world first in miniaturization with high light output: the PIN 5mm series lights!

Using a new and sophisticated manufacturing technique, high-performance LED chips are directly bonded to an electrical heat sink and additionally secured with adhesive. This allows for the generation and operation of enormous light output with a minimal chip area of just 3x3mm. The package includes four different light caps; the two round 5mm caps correspond to standard LEDs, but offer up to 100 times the brightness with a beam angle >120°. The cooling and mounting pin on the back is only 3mm in diameter and can be easily integrated even into thin sections of the rudder or the thinnest tail surfaces.

The 1W position light with x2 technology delivers impressive performance for model aircraft given its compact size; its design allows for an operating time of approximately 7–8 minutes without additional cooling.

as a small position light The light’s design features an exposed LED chip, which, as a ceramic substrate, is quite sensitive. We additionally glue it in place to mechanically stabilize it; however, the components must always be handled with great care until they are securely installed in the model.
